I’m glad you’re here!
It’s easy to get frustrated during a job search — I’ve been there and will be the first person to tell you that you have to do something new and different every day of your search AND don’t waste time. Be assertive and proactive without being a pest. When you can network in person, do it. Sitting behind that computer every day gets old — so get out and meet some humans every chance you can get. In the meantime…
Help is here.
Are you involved in a job search that’s not getting results? You know that you’re a great contributor but your resume just isn’t bringing you the interviews you need? Your resume is your marketing document to hiring managers and HR recruiters. You will not get the calls for interviews if it’s not doing what it’s supposed to do — putting you and your accomplishments in their best light.
Who am I?
I’m an HR professional who has been on both sides of the desk — reading resumes and coaching job seekers — as well as being in the thick of job searches throughout my own career.
I know what hiring managers and recruiters are looking for and I know how to succeed in getting the job.
What’s the service?
The services I offer range from resume work to career coaching and everything in between.
Resume
Remember that your resume is the document that markets YOU. It shouldn’t be updated when you’re looking for a new gig — it needs to be an active, working document throughout your career. Resume revision includes an in-depth phone “meeting” for us to review your resume together in addition to my gaining an understanding of your goals and objectives. In addition to a new resume, I will give you essential tools that you can use going forward so that you can maintain a top notch resume.
Career Coaching
As well as resume work, I am happy to work with you on a one-on-one basis in the following areas:
› Interviewing skills
› Negotiating the job offer
› Cover letter basics that work
› How to ace the elusive telephone interview
› Making the most of your LinkedIn profile
What’s the cost?
The investment you make in your career is an important one. The fees vary based on your career level and the time it will take to produce an excellent marketing document. It’s something we would discuss after I have had the opportunity to see your resume.
